GE Profile Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
Like its name implies, the GE Profile series is aimed at people who want to integrate cutting-edge features in their kitchen. This refrigerator is packed with these, from an inside-the-door Keurig K-cup coffee maker to a sophisticated water dispenser. But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. Since this refrigerator costs an extra amount, I'd like to see higher quality.
This refrigerator is a good option, despite the slight blip. It boasts a spacious freezer compartment, which is uncommon in counter-depth French door refrigerators. Furthermore, it holds a fair amount of frozen foods in comparison to similar models.
Inside french door fridge and freezer , you'll find 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment has 18.5 cubic feet, which is standard for a French-door refrigerator at this price. It has a decent sized refrigerator with an ice maker in the left door. But it's not the most spacious one I've seen.
You can alter the shelves in both compartments to create a a custom storage solution. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS is attractive, too. The LED lighting is an appealing feature. The in-door storage bins come with a third shelf that can be folded down to store tall items. The drawers come with temperature controls so you can set them for Meat, Beverage, or Deli settings. The drawers are simple to open and close however I found the textured plastic coatings to be a bit rough on my fingers.
The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator has all the features you'd expect from a refrigerator within this price range. It has Wi-Fi, app support and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app is available on iOS and Android devices and lets you control your refrigerator from any place across the globe. It also has numerous options for customizing. It also alerts you when a door is left open, when your fridge or freezer is in need of defrosting, and when it's time to change the filter.
It would be nice if GE PYE22PYNFS had Precise Fill which is an option that is available in other GE refrigerators that allows you to set the number of cups of water you'd like to disperse simultaneously. The fridge displays a countdown timer to reveal how much water is left however it's not as useful as Precise fill.
Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is an impressive product. It's designed to look like it's a seamless component of your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also has a vegetable compartment that helps keep vegetables and fruits fresher longer, and two compressors to ensure maximum food preservation. The Ice maker we tested is one of the most efficient, and it produces the shape of a pyramid using only water. This refrigerator is the ideal option for households with a single member or kitchenettes looking for a built-in look and top of the line food preservation.
This refrigerator was rated as the best in our Refrigerators Test due to a variety of reasons. Its freezer temperatures remained constant at just above 0° Fahrenheit and never fluctuated more than a tiny fraction - this is essential to avoid freezer burn. The refrigerator section of the fridge also performed well. It reached the initial temperature set within a matter of hours, and maintained the temperature throughout our tests.
Bosch is a household name known for its top-quality appliances. It's therefore no surprise that Bosch counter depth refrigerator is one of them. Bosch counter depth fridge can be connected to your home Wi Fi and Bosch's Home Connect. The app lets you monitor and control your fridge remotely from your smartphone or tablet. The fridge is expensive however, it offers excellent features and functionality at a fair price.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
The LG LRFLC2706S counter-depth fridge is a great option for those who require lots of space within an extremely compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, french door fridge freezers has an ordinary French-door design with gallon-sized bins for the doors on each door and two rows of spill-capture shelves and a set sleeker drawers. The upper right shelf can be folded down to give taller items more space. You'll also find a full width drawer for deli and an inside water dispenser.
One of the best aspects of this refrigerator is that its ice maker is inside the freezer, which makes it easy to transfer frozen ice to the fridge to be used when it is required. The freezer is designed with thoughtful elements, as well, such as sliding drawers to help you better organize the position of items. It also comes with a large bin that can hold plenty of frozen food items and a separate ice storage bin.
Smart InstaView panel is another cool feature of the refrigerator. It lets you control the temperature of your fridge and lighting from your smartphone. It's a simple way to monitor your fridge and manage it, especially when you're not at home.
But while the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it does not necessarily enhance the overall performance of the refrigerator. In fact it took a bit longer to defrost and chill foods in this refrigerator as compared to other fridges we tried. This is likely due to the bigger capacity.
The doors are another problem with this refrigerator. They have sunken handles on the front that allow smaller people to open them from the bottom, but they're difficult for taller people to steer closed without slamming them. It would have been much better if they had a front-mounted handles.
The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent option for those who want to combine the look of a French door refrigerator with more efficient design. Its capacity is higher than average for a counter-depth model and it cools evenly and has a great layout. It's also a little cheaper than the top counter-depth refrigerator with an ice maker, which can make it an attractive option.
Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
If you're looking for a French door fridge that doesn't cost you a fortune, this Frigidaire is a great choice. It has a simple design that's not as striking visually as some of the competition but it does have enough features to make it a solid pick. Its most significant feature, the adjustable temperature drawer, helps to keep food items such as vegetables and meat fresher longer. It also comes with a large ice maker and a water dispenser.
Another feature that is worth mentioning is the "Chill Drawer" that sits above the two crisper bins. The drawer allows you to divert part of the refrigerator's cooling power directly to this area, meaning you can keep food items that need extra attention. This feature is adjustable using a slider on the outside of the drawer. You can also use this to adjust the general cooling settings for the entire fridge, however, I've found that changing the general settings tends be more effective than specific ones.
During my experiments, I noticed that the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent across various parts of the fridge. The temperatures in the top, bottom and middle of the refrigerator did not differ much from 38 degrees. This is a great performance but doesn't quite make it to the top of our rankings.
This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also connect this fridge to an intelligent thermometer to get more precise measurements of your fridge's temperature.
The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF's exterior is made of stainless steel with a grey-bodied body which has a "smudge-proof" finish. It repels fingerprints and streaks better than other stainless steel finishes I've tried.
